# Connecting to JMap Cloud

The first step is to connect QGIS to JMap Cloud.

1. In QGIS, go to **Web → JMap Cloud → Connection** to open the connection interface.
2. Enter the email and password for your JMap Cloud account.
3. Select an organization.
4. Log out by clicking **Logout**. This clears your authentication information from the QGIS authentication database and revokes your JMap Cloud access token.
