Installing the Plugin

To install the extension:

  1. In QGIS, go to Plugins → Manage and Install Plugins → All.

  2. Search for the JMap Cloud plugin and install it.

  3. You will need to create a master password for the QGIS authentication database.

    • On Windows, this password will be saved in the Windows credential manager.

    • On macOS, the password will be requested each time you open QGIS.

The extension is accessible through the Web menu.

Master Password

Authentication information is stored in the QGIS authentication database, which requires a master password to access. The master password can be saved in the Windows credential manager or in the keychain for Mac users.

Mac users may encounter difficulties related to saving the password in the keychain. Users may need to allow all keychain applications access to the master password.

You can reset the master password by entering it incorrectly three times and then clearing the authentication database. This will have no impact on this extension, but may affect other extensions that use the authentication database.

QGIS authentication is required to connect to JMap Cloud.
