# Resetting Map Display

This function restores the map to its default layer visibility settings.

While configuring a project, you may enable or disable certain layers to facilitate your work. When you click the **Reset display** icon ![](/files/oKSErdx46x8CDK8Bqqhi), the map returns to its original display state based on the default visibility settings of each layer.
