Setting the Initial Extent

You can set the initial extent of the project, that is, the geographic extent of the project that appears when opened in an application such as JMap NG as well as in Studio.

1. Activate the tool by clicking the icon in the Define an initial extent section.

2. Click once to begin, draw the rectangle, and click a second time to finish.

3. Click the accept icon to save the rectangle.
