# Status of a Data Source

The table presents the different statuses that can have a spatial data source.

JMap Cloud detects file characteristics such as file type, CRS, attributes, etc.</td></tr><tr><td>Analyzed</td><td><strong>Files only</strong>.<br>The file has been analyzed and its characteristics must be validated by you.</td></tr><tr><td>Preparing</td><td><strong>Files only</strong>.<br>Once the file characteristics have been validated and the data source parameters have been completed, the data is loaded into the JMap Cloud databases.</td></tr><tr><td>Processing</td><td>The data source is being updated.</td></tr><tr><td>Ready</td><td>The spatial data source is ready to use.</td></tr><tr><td>Error</td><td>Indicates an error in one of the steps of creating or updating the DS.<br>Through the menu <img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/9n1KCuTyIKwSpZcPcC6l/blobs/8m4xvrMS418SV0cyQWNm/menu.png" alt="" data-size="line"> you can update the SD to fix the error.</td></tr></tbody></table>
