# Using Data Sources Shared by Other Organizations

Data sources (DS) shared by other organizations are displayed in the table in the Data Sources section. These DS can be used to create layers in projects, just like DS from your own organization.

You can filter the data sources displayed using the **Display** menu.

You can view the data, but you cannot [modify](/en/jmap-cloud-portal/user-guide-for-jmap-cloud-portal/integrating-data-data-sources/managing-data-sources/permissions.md) it or create [forms](/en/jmap-cloud-portal/user-guide-for-jmap-cloud-portal/creating-forms.md) to edit it.

# Agent Instructions: Querying This Documentation

If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.jmapcloud.io/en/jmap-cloud-portal/user-guide-for-jmap-cloud-portal/integrating-data-data-sources/using-data-sources-shared-by-other-organizations.md?ask=<question>
```

The question should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
