# Deleting the project

You can delete a project if you hold the **Owner** permission.

Deleting a project also removes its map layers and all its configurations.

**To delete a project:**

1. Click the menu icon, then select **Delete**. A confirmation message appears.
2. Once confirmed, the project is permanently deleted and removed from the **Projects** section.
