# Layer Information

To display layer information:

1. Click the menu then **More information** to open the **GENERAL** panel.

Displayed parameters:

* **Number of features** visible on the map (varies depending on your navigation).
* **Extent**: X and Y indicate the position of the southwest point; width and height indicate the extent in meters from that point.
* **Metadata**: information about the data. The displayed metadata includes: a description of the layer content, the data producer organization, the data production date, and the date of the last modification. Metadata may be absent.

2. Click **Back** to return to the **Layers** panel.
