Editing Data

It is possible to edit data from map layers (spatial data) as well as tables (non-spatial data).

You must have the appropriate permissions to perform the different types of editing.

Types of Editing for a Layer

  • Create a new feature

  • Modify the geometry of a feature

  • Modify the attribute values of a feature

  • Create, modify, or delete values in a table associated with the feature (sub-form)

  • Attach documents to features

  • Delete one or more features

Types of Editing for a Non-spatial Data Table

  • Create a new record

  • Modify the field values of one or more records

  • Attach documents to records

  • Delete one or more records
