Graphical Interface

When you open a project for the first time, a project presentation interface may appear. Some projects do not have this interface.

Project Presentation

Some projects display a presentation interface that provides relevant information about the project.

This presentation may contain text, images, hyperlinks, videos, and documents. You can download the document. Hyperlinks open the URL in another browser tab. Videos are displayed in the interface and can also be viewed on the platform where they are published.

You can manage the display of the presentation:

• Close the presentation. To reopen it, click the Details link located at the top right of the feature panels.

• Uncheck the Show at project opening checkbox to open the presentation only when needed.

JMap NG Interface

The JMap NG interface consists of three main elements:

• A sidebar with icons to access the various panels that provide features organized by theme

• Navigation and geographic positioning tools

• The map displaying the project data

Sidebar: Icons and Functions

Icon	Function	Details
	Opens or closes the feature panels	Each panel displays a breadcrumb with the project name. To switch projects, click Projects in the breadcrumb.
	Creates a new feature	Visible only if you have editing permissions. See the Editing Data section for details.
	Opens the place search field	See the Navigating the Map section for details.
	Performs a simple search in the project content	See the Navigating the Map section for details.
	Displays the Layers panel	See the Data section for details.
	Displays the Selection panel	See the Selecting Features on the Map section for details.
	Displays the Measure panel	See the Measuring Distances and Areas section for details.
	Displays the Annotations panel	See the Creating Annotations section for details.
	Displays the My Maps panel	See the Creating and Managing Custom Maps section for details.
	Displays the Export / Print panel	See the Exporting / Printing a Map section for details.
	Opens the JMap NG user and developer guides
	Displays the Profile and Settings panel	See the User Profile and Settings section for details.

Each panel contains functions and information specific to its theme.

Base Maps

The data sources for the base maps are displayed at the bottom of the map.
